Northern Labels Limited is responsible for the personal information you provide to us in connection with this website and our business. We aim to keep things straightforward. You can contact us by telephone or email without completing a website form.
What we collect and why
If you contact us or request a quotation, we may receive your name, company, contact details, order requirements, artwork and anything else you choose to send. We use that information to answer enquiries, prepare quotations, manufacture and deliver orders, provide customer service and maintain appropriate business records.
We process this information where necessary to take steps towards a contract or fulfil an order, to meet legal obligations, or for our legitimate business interests such as responding to business enquiries, managing accounts and protecting against fraud. We do not sell customer contact information.
Who may receive information
Information is shared only where reasonably necessary, for example with our email and IT providers, website hosting provider, professional advisers, payment and accounting services, or delivery companies involved in supplying your order. We may also disclose information when legally required. These providers may process information under their own policies or agreements with us.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiries and business records for as long as reasonably needed to handle the work, maintain our commercial relationship, resolve disputes and comply with legal, tax and accounting requirements. Different records may have different retention periods. You can ask us about the information we hold relating to you.
Cookies and website features
We have not included advertising cookies, analytics trackers or tracking pixels in this version of the website. The label calculators operate in your browser without requiring an account. Our hosting and security providers may use strictly necessary technical cookies or similar measures to deliver and protect the site.
The interactive Google Map on our Contact page is not loaded automatically. If you choose “Show Google Map”, your browser will connect to Google, which may receive technical information such as your IP address and may use cookies or similar technologies. You can find us using the written address or the what3words link without loading the embedded map. See Google's Privacy Policy for more information.
Because non-essential embedded content is only loaded on request, we do not display a site-wide cookie popup. If we introduce analytics, marketing cookies or other non-essential tracking in future, we will review the policy and obtain any consent required.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to access your personal information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict certain uses, or request a copy of information you supplied. Please email us and we will consider your request in accordance with UK data protection law.
